Without going into too much detail, this project is a comedic, satirical book about North Korea. I designed it as if it were going to be handed out to North Korean kids to learn about their country. Its a combination of illustration, printmaking, graphic design, and collage.
In the back of the book, I created a hollow book in which I inserted a frame which could be used for North Korean kids to hang a picture of Kim Il Sung in their bedrooms. The interior is made with real red velvet.
