Trashy Trash is the result of an interdisciplinary design project at the end of my first year in IADT. We were briefed to produce an original board game, along with its own packaging and instructional video.
The concept of the game is pretty simple --- move your truck along the board to get to the pit in the middle, where you fish out rubbish tokens for your bins. The player who deposits fifteen recyclable tokens first wins. The game was created with the consideration of a young target audience, thus playful hand-rendered illustrations and bright colours were used.
Truck packaging includes fold-out game board, paper trucks and rule book.
