The Lil Electric Dudes (The LEDs)
Here are the work in progress photos for the 'lil electric dudes'. Their only purpose is to be the cutest decor/art project you've ever seen. For each of them I started with the torso, then added their resistor legs and arms and just worked around picking up components as I saw fit for my desired outcome.
They were constructed using dead bug soldering of spare components mostly capacitors, resistors, LEDs. I wanted to see if I could do something cool with a little but of creativity and spare parts and this is what I was able to come up with.
During this process I also made a couple of bugs, I used a water jet to cut out printed circuit boards for the dragonfly wings. I loved getting to do this project because it gave me the chance to mess around with something in a fun and different way than I normally would.
