I always wanted to do a pet series on cats and dogs since there have been so many of them in my life over the years. So this year, I thought to do calendars about stray dogs. I decided to ask people from my social media to send me photographs of their adopted stray dogs along with a few lines about them. The idea turned out so well and I received so many photos of different dogs with cute stories.
I wanted to experiment with chalk brushes on Procreate, so decided to draw this series in a crayon/chalk style. The idea is to not go too detailed with the faces. It was very challenging but I am very happy that I tried something new and also satisfied with the final output.
