Nilay is a considerably easy going and natural person, although she has a stressful work life as a director in one of the largest law firms.
Her main aim with her apartment was creating a peaceful environment to sustain a balanced life.
While designing the interior of her house, I also designed this modular bookshelf and the coffee table.
The bookshelf consists of one long unit with four table units on top, which can be used as shelves and also a coffee table. The material used in the units is walnut tree in order to bring natural colors to the apartment and give the bookshelf long lasting use.
Since it is aimed to represent Nilay’s easygoing personality with the modular structure and also with rounded corners, such modular unit is named after her.
