Trópico is a playlist which celebrates the powerful musicality of MPB (Música popular brasileira), a playlist that instigates listeners to re-experience the classics of the genre and inspire newcomers to meet songs and artists that established such an iconic period of the history of the brazilian music.

This is the visual id project which concludes the Aprender Design course, Decoding Identities, lectured by Giulia Fagundes featuring Lucas D’ascenção as guest for the final presentation. This visual identity was created based in the learnings we gathered along the course which envolved research methods, visual explorations, campaign deployment to other media formats and final presentation for the lecturers.  The visual id development started through the logo exploration, inspired in the display typography used in several albuns of MPB genre at the 70’s. From the logo, the other graphic elements were made through repetition of the artists, additional information (date/vol.) and streaming platform logo.
