From the obsession to collect, sort, select and save images that leave an impression, ephemeral or permanent; The Collector is born.
Like a star constellation, the mural displays pictures that are related to one another but are based in different fields and genres such as portraiture, landscape, still life, intimate photography… The links between the images are not at random, they are significant and go towards forming a narrative based upon their evidence.
Each image, like a witness to a presence or absence of an event, gives a new perspective to the whole, and, at last, a personal perception about the remnants left by somebody or something, an everlasting mark, trace, print or sign which displays to us the void.
