Noli Me Tangere is part of my series, Finding Romanticism Among Grunge. This was kind of a new subject for me, as I'm used to working on leafy subjects and cacti weren't really something I've had much exposure to. To be honest, I even hated this piece initially and didn't want to come back to it after staring at the cactus for too long, so I had stored it away for some time. When I was cleaning out my studio recently, almost 2 years after starting work on this one, I looked at it in another light and decided to give it another shot and I'm glad I did.
