My own tarot deck, inspired by the classic Rider Waite Smith tarot deck, published by WonderTail publishing in 2023
While working on this project, it was paramount for me to uphold the symbolism of the classic Rider Waite Smith tarot. Simultaneously, I sought to infuse my own distinctive vision and style, rendering this deck truly one-of-a-kind. My card illustrations draw inspiration from my personal interpretation of Pamela Colman-Smith's works, intertwining elements from mythology, folklore, and fiction. In crafting this deck, I endeavored to accentuate the connections between specific cards and the overarching system of the entire deck. To enhance the reader's experience, I assigned a unique color and character to each suite, underscoring the notion that each suite represents a distinct journey within my deck. The result is a tapestry of symbolism and personal insight, woven into the very essence of each card and resonating throughout the entirety of the deck.
