Data River
A dynamic data art piece
Data River is a project designed by Federica Fragapane, developed by Paolo Corti and brought to life based on the concept by Sergio Marchesini and Raffaella Rivi of the artistic collective D20 ART LAB.

Development Paolo Corti
The data art piece has been created with the aim of developing a constantly evolving pictorial work, located in an acoustically protected area at the Electrolux plant in Susegana. We used values and numbers from the production lines to create a deliberately unreadable work from a statistical analysis perspective. However, starting from the data itself, it generates a real-time dynamic illustration: a river in continuous movement, reminiscent of the shape of the Piave River, a characteristic landscape element of the region. The perspective from which the river is observed rotates with the passage of time, and the color palette changes with the seasons.
