One of a kind fairy sculpture. Not for sale.

Her name is Victoria and she has a pet acorn named Cornelia. She is named after the bookworm in my life, my mother-in-law Vickey.  I painted her hands, arms, legs, feet and even her nose to look dirty because I assume fairies are outside flying through trees and rolling in the dirt so they must be dirty.
She is hardwired with a brass armature. I do not fill my sculptures with aluminum foil, ever. Aluminum expands when heated so that can damage the clay.
She was sculpted with polymer clay and hand painted and blushed with heat set oil paints. Her wings are made from brass wires and Angelina film (also known as fantasy film). Her hair is Tibetan lamb wool. Her costume is just tulle. She is adorned with her acorn, mini calligraphy pen and ink bottle and a handmade book I made specifically for her.
From head to toe she stretches out to 6 1/2" long. She is hand signed with my signature and a number at the back of her head.
