The PVCHive aims to populate a house with furniture that could hypothetically be made out of the excesses of its construction. Virgin PVC pipe, timber and even furniture are casualties of our building and housing industry. Using ratchet straps allows the PVCHive to be tensioned and dismantled infinitely. This is an attempt at a more fluid form of furniture. Presented at Melbourne Fringe Furniture.
