Check it out! We celebrated Dia De Los Muertos as a family for the first time this year by coloring our own Calaveras (Skulls). 

These were a blast to draw in procreate with the symmetry tool!  "Por la cultura" is extremely valuable if we seek to be honorable not only to ourselves & ancestors but to others as well. If I didn't take the time to do my own homework on my own culture, I wouldn't have any possible chance at understanding other cultures thoughtfully. That said, it brings me to joy to know that the forgotten or lost culture of my indigenous ancestors is not completely nullified. I can't wait to get the whole scoop in one day! 

It also means the world to me that they would build a time into the year to celebrate the people we've lost. Everyone certainly needs time to acknowledge and remember their presence beyond the grave. I hope I'm doing right by them with all my heart.
