JF Coffee Branding

This was the logo created for JF Coffee. The logo is three coffee mugs superimposed onto each other, giving the essence of energy. A bold red was chosen to provide a bold, energetic feel to the logo.
The exterior would be a red brick and white stucco with a bright blue stripe separating the two textures. This will bring together the interior and exterior design. A large lit "JF COFFEE" will be placed above the blue stripe. A large window will be perfect for customers to enjoy inside, and a lit JF Coffee logo will be hung in the center of the window. The outer seating area will be comfortable and quirky with outdoor couches, sturdy wooden end tables, and ivy growing along the bricks.
The interior will feature a large open seating area with couches and wooden coffee tables. Along the walls, counter seating will provide the perfect place for studying, working, or chatting with friends. The coffee carafes will be placed in the back on the room, and customers will have the option of a ceramic mug or to-go mugs. The carafes will be placed on a cutout shelf built into the wall. The back of this shelf will extend into the kitchen, so when coffee needs to be refilled, it can be taken out, refilled, and put back through the kitchen, not ruining the experience for the customer. Above the kitchen and coffee area will be a homey stage for karaoke nights, local artists, comedians, and so on.
A smart phone app will be created for JF Coffee. This app will allow the customer to pay using their phone, gain rewards points, called Perks, find out what coffees are available and read reviews on blends, and more.
The website will give legitimacy to JF Coffee in addition to providing fun extras for the customer. Online, the customer can check out events coming up, pictures from customers, and read the JF Coffee blog, Coffee Break.
Coffee Break, JF Coffee's online blog, will feature all things coffee, from coffee inventions to coffee DIY projects. A banner ad for JF Coffee will also be found online that leads the target to the JF Coffee website.
This flyer can be placed around town to promote JF Coffee before it opens and into the first year of business. This can also be adapted for advertisements in local magazines or newspapers.
In order to create the best branding experience, I found it necessary to offer a strategy guide, giving an in-depth look at the target, additional advertising ideas, and promotional events that could be utilized to get the word out about JF Coffee.
