This project is my contribution to Raam Maar, an independent artists' initiative and DIY publisher that focusses on drawing in its various forms. Each participant creates 9 drawings.
Summary
A lot of people don’t believe these children crawling from the dark green forest are real. Living in the city makes you lose touch with reality. Outside everybody knows what thrives between the dark roots. Embracing the living world, consuming soft cold creatures in the comfort of the sun. While the city slips into a peaceful sleep, the saplings grow.
Why did I lock myself in this strange castle? I will find out.
I followed the local deer to leave this weird construction.
They left me alone in the forest, I’m glad they did.
I heard them calling in the dark, they were quite clear.
Crawling and clawing, sucking from the dark earth.
I know you’re here little frog, cold and wet.
The cold frog was melting inside my warm body.
I had to swallow the hare to find the right path.
There it was, the world pulsating again.
