First, we practiced with Sillouhette without prior or minimal experience. I had already had done some sillouhette work and knew the basics
this exercise was to see the key elements of a design: the bigger, the medium, and the small, which show where your eye gets drawn to and what impression a character makes
here we had two options of design. i chose option A, which was recreating a different design i previously made into siluhettes to push the form and flow and see if the design could be improved
This assignment involved choosing 3 artists whose art style interested you and was mostly different from your own. We then analyzed the art styles in terms of their technique, line weight, color use, etc. i chose Marajia p cause her artsyles is less harsh than mine and she uses color in an interesting way
