A former chairman and CEO of the Oppenheimer Group, Stephen K. Robert co-founded the Source of Hope Foundation to channel philanthropy centered on education, healthcare, and infrastructure-building in underserved communities worldwide. Stephen Robert’s charitable and cultural work most recently includes his election to the board of trustees of the Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM).

The waterfront museum complex concentrates on the distinct role of Miami as a crossroads of artistic influences. It celebrates the contributions of Caribbean, African diaspora, Latin American, and indigenous artists of the modern and contemporary periods.
Art lovers can enjoy a variety of public, private, and self-guided tours through the treasures of the PAMM. The museum is open Thursday through Sunday, and staff conducts several public tours daily. In-person and virtual private tours are available through advance request, and guests can also use the museum’s app to enrich their walk-throughs of the exhibits.

A tour can cover the general permanent and special exhibits of the museum, or guests can select focused themes: the Black Art Tour, the Pride Tour, or a tour led in Spanish. The PAMM also offers tours led in American Sign Language and audio-description tours for patrons with visual challenges.

Students in grades K-12 admitted free of charge, can participate in the Knight Schools Program, which offers tours designed to open up doors of new experiences and ideas, especially for students in grades K-12. The PAMM provides enrichment curriculum materials tied in with its exhibits and offers free bus service for schools in the Miami-Dade County Public School system.
