Stick Dance
As a part of my Final Major Project at University, I combined with a close friend from the Dance course to produce the advertisements for his Final Major Project. His performance was called GÙN WÛ which translates as 'Stick Dance' and focuses on the body's relationship with objects through movement.
I decided to tackle this with a particular style in mind. Using harsh and jagged line work to create the central image, inspired by the infamous style of Saul Bass. The colour scheme practically chose itself in that it is a Chinese themed dance, the deep oranges and reds coupled with the harsh black text was the only way I felt I could take it.
