Below is one of my last few pieces of work for my Final Major Project at University. This is one of three in a series of hand cut stencil spray paint portraits. The series is called 'The Cigar Series' as all the people in the portraits are smoking cigars.
This is the first in the series, one of my idols; Tom Hardy.
To create this piece I hand cut 6 layers of stencils and spray painted them in grey tonal Montana 94 spray paints. I have shown the process of cutting out the stencils below.
