This project was created for the Downplus Association, a Bucharest-based charity which provides care and support for children with Down Syndrome.

The client wanted to tell a tale of friendship and humanity in spite of perceived differences, so the aesthetic chosen was one that hinted at warmth and coziness. Emphasis was placed on roundness and warm colors. The illustrations were done in watercolor, colored pencil and markers. DTP and print-ready services were also provided.

Illustrations feature contoured version in order to serve as a coloring book as well.
