Harry Allen Design revisits the tractor stool with our new Coiled Stool for Umbra Shift. The tractor seat has served as inspiration for designers Castiglioni to Bassam Fellows, and we too fell in love with the farm icon. Our interpretation makes use of the traditional basket-making techniques of the Philippines. Hand-woven polypropylene threads cover a rattan core. The hat-like seat is surprisingly comfortable and sturdy, and comes in a muted palette of colors.
