Cor!는 다양한 집안일을 도와주는 스마트 홈 로봇입니다. Cor!는 iot 기술의 집합체로 번거롭고 귀찮은 가사 일을 도맡아서 처리합니다. Cor!는 로봇과, 시스템 선반 그리고 태스크 모듈들로 구성되어 있습니다. 시스템 선반에서 필요한 모듈을 하나씩 꺼내 쓰면서 집안일을 완벽하게 수행합니다.
Cor! is a smart home robot that helps you with various household chores. Cor! is a collection of IoT technologies that takes care of cumbersome and annoying household chores. Cor! consists of a robot, system shelf and task modules. Complete your household chores by removing the required modules from the system shelf one by one.

Blending into user's lifestyle seamlessly.
Cor!는 사이드 테이블 같은 디자인으로 집안에 자연스럽게 녹아듭니다. 기계적이고 차가운 로봇의 눈과 관절은 평소에는 숨겨져있습니다. 가구와 같은 실루엣과 마감으로 어느 환경에서도 이질감 없이 어울릴 수 있습니다. 그럼에도 Cor!는 다재다능합니다. Cor! 와 함께 집안일에서부터 해방되어 보세요!
Cor! has a side table-like design so it blends naturally into your home. The mechanical and cold eyes and joints of the robot are normally hidden. The furniture-like silhouette and finish allows it to blend in seamlessly in any environment. Still, Cor! is versatile. Cor! Free yourself from household chores with!
Task-oriented home robots

커피를 내려주고, 요리를 도와주는 기능들은 훌륭하지만 로봇들은 대체로 투박한 기계덩어리들이었습니다. 효율성을 중시한 접근은 태스크 중심의 디자인 결과물을 만들어냈습니다. 이러한 로봇들을 집안으로 들여오기는 꽤 부담스럽죠.
The functions of making coffee and helping with cooking are great, but robots are generally ugly and clunky pieces of machinery. The efficiency-focused approach produced task-oriented design results. Bringing these robots into the house is too burdensome.

Cor!는 기존의 로봇들이 가지는 효율성을 추구하면서, 사용자를 거슬리게 하지 않고 집안에 잘 어울리는 아름다운 오브제처럼 보입니다. 똑똑하고 세심한 Cor!를 만나보세요.
Cor! pursues the efficiency of existing robots, but looks like a beautiful object that fits into the home without being intrusive to the user. Meet the smart and attentive Cor!

Process & methodology.
주거 환경 내에서의 다양한 높이 조건에 대한 사용성을 테스트하기 위해 50cm, 75cm, 100cm 높이의 소프트 목업을 제작하여 테스트를 실시했습니다. 이후, 내부 부품을 포함할 수 있는 박스형 조형을 다양하게 베리에이션했고, 6:1 스케일로 3D 출력했습니다.
마지막으로, 폼 모델링을 AR 포맷으로 내보내어 다양한 주거 환경을 체험할 수 있는 공간에 방문해 테스트했고, 가장 적합하고 형상을 선정했습니다.

To test usability for various height conditions within a residential environment, soft mock-ups were created and tested at heights of 50 cm, 75 cm, and 100 cm. Afterwards, various variations of the box-shaped sculpture that could contain internal parts were made and 3D printed at 6:1 scale. Finally, the form modeling was exported in AR format, visited and tested in spaces where various residential environments can be experienced, and the most suitable shape was selected.
Seperated space for work and rest, just like we are.
Cor!는 사람처럼 일하는 곳과 쉬는 곳이 분리되어 있습니다. 낮에는 일종의 일터인 시스템 선반에서 모듈을 꺼내 쓰며 열심히 집안일을 합니다. 밤이 되면 침대 옆 차징 스테이션에서 스스로 충전하면서 사용자와 함께 휴식을 취합니다.
Cor! has separate work and rest areas, just like humans. During the day, It works hard around the house, pulling out modules from the system shelf, which is a kind of workplace for this. At night, it recharges itself at the bedside charging station and relaxes with you.
Task modules.
빨래 바구니, 물조리개, 오토 디퓨저, 태블릿 독, 시스템 트레이, 도그 피더 등 다양한 모듈을 사용자의 선호에 따라 시스템 선반에 배치하여 사용할 수 있습니다.
Various modules such as a clothes basket, watering pot, auto diffuser, tablet dock, system tray, and dog feeder can be placed on the system shelf according to the user's preference.
#1 Clothes basket.
시스템 선반의 빨래 바구니가 가득 차면 Cor! 가 빨래 바구니를 머리에 부착하여 세탁기로 이동합니다. 세탁물을 세탁기에 던져 넣고 iot 시스템으로 세탁을 진행합니다. 빨래가 밀리지 않게 Cor! 가 관리해 줍니다.
When the basket on the system shelf is full, Cor! Attaches a laundry basket to it's head and carry it to the washing machine. Throw the laundry into the washing machine and wash it using the IoT system. It manages to keep your laundry from stacking.
#2 Watering pot.
식물에 물을 줘야 할 때가 되면 Cor!가 시스템 선반에서 물 조리개를 가져와 식물에 물을 줍니다. 까먹지 않고 나의 식물들을 관리해 줍니다.
When it's time to water the plants, Cor! retrieves the water dispenser from the system shelf and waters the plants. It takes care of your plants without forgetting.
#3 Auto diffuser.
집안에서 냄새가 나면 Cor! 가 오토 디퓨저를 머리에 부착하여 집안 곳곳을 돌아다닙니다. 공간을 금세 향기롭게 바꿔줍니다.
When there is an odor in the house, Cor! attaches an auto diffuser to its head and walks around the house. It will instantly make your space fragrant.
#4 Tablet dock.
잠들기 전에는 Cor! 가 태블릿을 머리에 부착하여 침대로 이동합니다. 더 이상 태블릿을 손으로 잡고 있을 필요가 없습니다. Cor! 가 알맞은 각도로 콘텐츠를 재생해 줄 거예요.
Before going to sleep, Cor! carries the tablet to your bed by attaching it to its head. You no longer needs to hold the tablet in your hands. Cor! will play content at the right angle.
#5 System tray.
Cor!를 위한 다용도 트레이가 있습니다. 사용자의 필요에 따라 다양한 물건을 올려두고 필요할 때 가져다줄 수 있을 것입니다.
There is a multipurpose tray for Cor! Depending on your needs, you will be able to place various items and retrieve them when you need them.
#6 Dog feeder.
혼자 심심한 시간을 보내는 소중한 가족도 Cor!가 챙겨줍니다. 심심하지 않게 장난감을 던져주고, 피더 모듈을 이용해 밥을 주거나 노즈워크를 수행할 수 있습니다.
Cor! also takes care of your precious family members who spend time alone and bored. To keep them from getting bored, It can throw them toys, feed them using the feeder module, or perform nose work.

Internal structure.
그저 예쁘기만 하면 제대로 일을 못 하겠죠. 깔끔한 실루엣 안에는 50cm-100cm 확장을 위한 실린더와 튼튼한 힌지 구조가 숨겨져 있습니다. 자유롭게 움직일 수 있도록 하는 특수한 바퀴도 갖고 있습니다.
If a robot is just pretty, it won't be able to do its job properly. The clean silhouette hides a cylinder for 50cm-100cm extension and a sturdy hinge structure. It also has special wheels that allow it to move freely.
Hinge.
Cor!의 힌지는 강력한 금속 소재로 만들어져 매우 튼튼합니다. 무거운 모듈을 올려도 자유롭게 움직일 수 있도록 말이죠. 매끄럽게 움직이는 힌지는 사용자와의 친밀한 인터랙션을 이끌어내기도 합니다.
Cor!'s hinges are made from strong metal and are very sturdy. So that it can move freely even when heavy modules are placed on it. The smoothly moving hinge also creates an intimate interaction with the user.
Z axis extension.
Cor는 가볍지만 단단한 알루미늄 기둥이 탑재되어 50cm부터 100cm까지 자유자재로 변신할 수 있습니다. 이는 사이드 테이블의 높이와 스탠드 테이블의 높이 개념으로부터 착안된 것으로, 실내 공간에서 유저에게 다양한 사용 시나리오를 제안합니다.
Cor is equipped with a light but strong aluminum pole that can be freely transformed from 50cm to 100cm. This is inspired by the concept of the height of the side table and the height of the stand table, and suggests various usage scenarios to users in indoor spaces.
Mecanum wheel.
Cor!는 매카넘 휠이 내장되어 조향이 필요없이 어느 방향이든 부드럽게 이동할 수 있습니다. Cor!에겐 넘지 못할 턱이 없습니다.
Cor! has built-in macanum wheels, allowing it to move smoothly in any direction without the need for steering. There is no obstacle that Cor! cannot overcome.
Emergency stop.
Cor!는 똑똑하게 주인을 돕습니다. 하지만 Cor!가 의욕이 너무 넘칠 때는 뒷면의 긴급 정지 버튼으로 즉시 Cor!를 멈출 수 있습니다.
Cor! is smart and helps its owner. However, if Cor! gets too motivated, you can immediately stop Cor! with the emergency stop button on the back.
Light interaction & Internal box.
Cor!는 내장 박스가 탑재되어 추가적인 수납공간을 제공합니다. 잃어버리기 쉬운 것부터 귀중품까지 소중하게 보관해 줍니다. 또한 은은한 불빛은 인터랙션 요소로, Cor!의 현재 상태를 나타내기도 하고 무드등으로 사용되기도 합니다.
Cor! is equipped with a built-in box to provide additional storage space. It protects everything from items that are easy to lose to valuables. In addition, soft lights are an interactive element that indicates Cor!'s current status and are also used as mood lighting.
