In a bid to better the current brand image of KTN, a local news station, I have decided to dwelve in to the realm of animating the logo using Adobe's After effects. It's not the snazziest of motion graphics, but from the understanding I got of their new initiative, the deployment was to simplify.

 

Looks simple enough to me, whilst holding the attention span.

The aim was to break the spirals down which I had taken from the initial KTN logo and the second logo, so as to keep consistency with the brand image and animate them along with the Name of the station - KTN.

 

I simplified the animation without use of extensive graphics assuming that KTN had opted to work on a similar mindset when developing their new brand image.

 

With a quick sound snippet from Jamendo, I got the below clip set up.
