A promotional poster was required to inform people about typefaces throughout history, Franklin Gothic was my chosed typface as it has been used by some of my favourite bands including Descendents and The Ramones. I wanted to show the diverse and flexible amount of weights available for use within the composition.
The requirements were using 2 PMS colours only, so I chose to use a lot of white space to balance the elements of the poster. Inspiration for the poster came from Benjamin Franklin's association with the United States $100 note.
The final poster was created using only letterforms. The line work of the 100 is made entirely from full stops.
