NAAS Illusion Monogram

In search of innovation, my universe oscillates between the improvement of current and futuristic concepts. I try to combine old aesthetics while modernising them to bring them up to date. First of all, this signature embodies the values and identity that I represent as a designer. In the course of my young career, I was able to explore a number of graphic and aesthetic styles that I have developed over the years. This signature is the result of the influence of various artistic movements. The structure of the 'N' monogram creates a three-dimensional illusion, and the typography of the 'N' is inspired by ancient typefaces. Despite the use of engraving techniques, old typography and textures, I've tried to preserve an aesthetic that's halfway between modern minimalism, favouring legibility, and the power that the illustrative aspect gives to the monogram's identity. What's more, the monogram can be used in a number of ways to make it easier to read on different media.

The aim of this illustration is to vary my signature in an illustrated way and also to create a more complete and rich identity. I was inspired by a sculpture on the roof of a distillery in a village close to where I grew up. My father's neighbouring village in Alsace pays tribute to Saint-Louis, a great aviator/explorer of the 20th century. The eagle, the map of the world and the globe are direct references to my childhood, my village and the values that Saint-Louis carried on his expeditions.

This motion design completes the visual identity. The loop is short but dynamic. To accentuate its futuristic feel, the logo moves like a particle in an unstable state, randomly distorting itself.
