a tight market
Market research showed, that the market for RFID Keyfobs not only is quite competitive but also dominated by very similarly but barely designed products. Purchasing decisions are mainly done over pricing. By analysing the product’s whole journey we identified areas to improve our design and marketing.

the vision
Our goal was to change that. We wanted to create a product that could compete and meet our social and ecological responsibilities by being made regionally and from sustainably sourced materials. Creating a product that provides more than just being cheap, it should be a joy to touch and feel, visually enticing, and long-lasting.

design details
The chosen design plays with the established teardrop shape many other keyfobs are using but refines it to its very core.
A perfectly smooth surface that creates the intrinsic need to explore and feel it.
The diagonal grooves ru
nning over the surface not only give the object some structure but also provide a breaking point to separate the chip from the plastic housing for easy recycling.
