Eggshtray is a multi-purpose object. It's primary use is that of an eggcup, it's secondary that of an ashtray. This project was part of a one-week workshop during my study program. Goal of the workshop was to get familiar with making models by creating an easy to produce object of every day use with plaster and casting techniques.
I produced about half a dozen of these eggshtrays, and in all colors ranging from white, yellow orange, to blue, green, and black. We never ended up using them as ashtrays out of concern that it would damage the surface of the material, the final product would be best produced in ceramics.
