Kora Ceramic Studio Brand Identity



Objective: The goal was to create a flexible brand identity for a ceramic studio, including logo, colour palette, pattern, and a set of icons. The brand should capture the characteristics of the final ceramic products (mugs, bowls, vases), the process of molding clay by hand, and the energy of a small education-oriented studio.

Process: Drawing inspiration from visual cues, the brand design incorporates warm earthy hues, simple shapes, and subtle textures. But within the story, there is an unexpected contradiction. It needed to convey both the refined and the playful, the professional ceramicist dedicated to precision and craftsmanship, as well as the beginner who is excited to try something new. Depending on the context, the brand can present itself with clean lines and modern forms, or it can be whimsical, imperfect, muddy, and fun.
