MICHAEL KORS asked us to produce a social media campaign for their summer/spring 2024 collection show. They came up with the idea to show NYC in full bloom.
We started with some flower setups in Houdini and Cinema4D to show the full beauty of bougainvillea flowers. After we developed the core setup we started to let everything bloom. Single flowers, growing ones, until we fully covered whole NYC.

All growth systems were full done in Houdini. With the help of a RS Proxy workflow, we brought them back to C4D, where we tracked all scenes.
For the city shots, we had to rebuild NYC completely in every shot. After rebuilding it, we were able to run our solvers over the proxy geometry.
