I was asked by a friend to be a part of the show and jumped at the chance, despite the fact that I never reallllllly got into skating (I fell down a bunch of times). I did some sketching and felt good about an initial idea but wanted to try something different. I have recently done a few screen prints, but thought this show called for somthing a little more fresh. So, I called up the good dudes at MC Laser Labs (http://www.mclaserlabs.com) and asked them if there was anything they were itching to try. We talked through some stacked dimensional wood ideas and settled on what you see here.
