SHUANG-YU
Shuang Yu is a brand of Sichuan fish hotpot restaurant. With the characteristics of Chinese culinary culture and a favorite street food in Sichuan city, the brand is built based on the characteristics of the Chinatown food street at night.
The first signal when entering Chinatown is the large welcome gate imbued with Chinese cultural architecture, followed by an almost endless interweaving of neon signs, led lights, and glimmering lanterns. All creating an unforgettable and overwhelmingly Chinese scene.
Based on these characteristic elements and the desire to bring a "miniature Chinatown" in the heart of Hanoi. Inspired by the interweaving of neon lights, colorful signs, the Shuang Yu logo is designed. The main graphic system is designed to combine fish images, typical food and what is most typical of chinatown. Choosing a fantasy illustration style makes the overall identity of Shuang Yu with Chinese characteristics but still has a new and distinctive feature.
Chinese culture is more clearly expressed with complementary graphic element inspired by the ancient Chinese art of paper cutting. We selected and refreshed paper-cutting characteristic visual elements so they can show youth and be suitable for the brand's characteristics.
