This Africa themed illustration is a variation on my Donso gigposter design. Donso is a French/African band. In this work I tried to capture the African vibes of their music as affectively as possible by using a certain color scheme and typical shapes. I made an illustration of this African-ish animal (based on an Antelope) to complete the work. The original gigposter design had no background, but when I finished that design I felt like it did need a background color or pattern. After trying lots of different background colors and patterns, this one gave me the ultimate African feeling. Feel free to leave feedback below this page!
