Stephen Robert is an accomplished investment banking executive who formerly served as chairman and CEO at Oppenheimer Group Inc. in New York City. After enjoying a successful career in investment banking, Stephen K. Robert shifted his focus towards philanthropy by establishing the private Source of Hope Foundation. Through the Source of Hope Foundation, he supports and empowers Just Vision.

Source of Hope Foundation supports the mission of Just Vision, a religiously unaffiliated and nonpartisan organization that works to document unheard stories concerning human rights, women's leadership, and other important social issues in Israel and Palestinian communities. The organization produces documentary films that strategically engage the audience and bring attention to sociocultural issues spanning various aspects (from human and civil rights violations to social justice) facing the Israel-Palestine. Just Vision strives to promote peace and pluralism through non-violent means by leveraging the media.

The journalists, storytellers, filmmakers, and human rights advocates at Just Vision are based in Israel-Palestine and the United States. This team reached out to thousands in refugee camps and villages to hear their stories and accrue facts. From there, they begin each production. Some of its productions are Budrus, Nalia and the Uprising, and My Neighborhood.
