Did the editorial coverstory for Gadgets Magazine, August 2013 Anniversary issue. The editorial team decided to give the 13th aniversary a different twist and settled for the Retro-Futuristic theme.
I thought the best shot for me to illustrate the extensive articles is through a set of collage with visual aids form different classic sci-fi films, then mix the images with modern landscapes and electronic devices. The coverstory entitled "Looking Forward" talks about how the capability of today's devices open up a lot of opportunities for the future of technology.

This one is for the "Mobile Devices" article. With Flash Gordon being hyperconnected with his Google Glass, smartphone and tablet.
This is for the "Digital Imaging" write-up. I used Barbarella using a D60. I added the spaceships with Google Drive and Dropbox logo for the concept of Cloud storages.
I gave Gort from "The Day the Earth Stood Still" a golden twin and turned them into the Daft Punk duo for the "Entertainment" write-up. I added an RKO Radio Tower at the back for a subtle detail.
For the "Mobility" write-up, I used the "Attack of the 50 Ft. Woman" since the woman in the psoter originally holds a car.
