Ursina Tossi is a dancer and choreographer from Hamburg who powerfully combines dance and political discourse in her work. Her pieces are characterized by an activist, queer-feminist perspective and are inspired by pop culture, movies, and politics. Her dance performances impress with concise choreography, strong imagery, and a dense atmosphere.
A particular focus is placed on exploring barriers and accessibility to reach and expand the audience, both with and without limitations and regardless of one's abilities. An important aspect of her artistic and research work is audio description.
