Design Simples – 2010
Team: Ana Clara Goyeneche, André Noboru, Francisco Manara, Hugo Chinaglia, Lucas Colebrusco e Midori Motoki.
The initiative emerged from a partnership firmed between the Brazilian studio Design Simples and the woodwork cooperative Unindo Forças from Barueri, Sao Paulo. I was part of the team that developed furniture from recycled wood focused on the local community. After interviewing the locals during visits in their houses, furnitures were designed based on requirements and needs.
