Lexicon
Joint Exhibition March 2014 | Wash Arts Gallery

Lexicon is an exhibition that featured works by myself and Joe Mruk. The imagery for each artwork is derived from a pairing of two previously unassociated words chosen from online submissions. The combination of randomized words resulted in newfound (and sometimes nonsensical) ideas. The selected literary combinations not only produce visuals that were unique in their mishmash conception, but also are reflective of the personalities and individualized preference of myself and Joe.

My contribution included ten painted works, as well as eight button designs - all based off of the submitted word pairings.
