Big Burrito, a restaurant group in Pittsburgh, hired me to create a new illustration for one of their restaurant's (Mad Mex) seasonal menu-items, The Gobblerito, a monstrous Thanksgiving-themed burrito. Continuing their tradition of promoting the enormous burrito with the image of a giant turkey monster, the art director of Big Burrito asked if I could illustrate a "turkey kaiju" (Japanese giant monster), similar to Godzilla. As a kid I grew up watching many kaiju movies and was enthralled with Godzilla, so to receive such a project was very exciting.
