To produce a range of products to reach Autistic children and their carers.
The Concept

All products have been designed to educate children with Autism. Initially designed for a stall at Waterstones, then expanded further since. Road Safety Awarenes and Swimming Safety are two ranges of products within the Autism Awareness brand.

All products have been designed to educate children with Autism. Initially designed for a stall at Waterstones, then expanded further since. Road Safety Awarenes and Swimming Safety are two ranges of products within the Autism Awareness brand.
Products consist of:
- Spinning tops (to represent the circular motion of a car wheel)
- Road safety flash cards (fastened with a seat belt style belly band)
- Car air freshener
- Road safety business cards
- Road safety keyring
- Road safety stationery
- Swimming safety experience activity sheet
- Swimming safety flash cards (lanyard and flash card form)

Road Safety Awareness materials have been designed for a stall at Waterstones on World Book Night 2014. The consistent colour scheme running throughout the branding highlights the importance of safety.

Autism Publication

The Autism publication was influenced by children's wooden building blocks. The glasses are provided with filers to give the audience an insight into what it is like to read for an Autistic child suffering from sensory overload. The overall packaging is a red drawstring bag to represent a glasses case.

Road Safety Awareness Flash Cards

The flash cards are used to educate children about the basic road safety rules. The cards are colour coded to represent traffic lights, and they have the same layout and design as the autism publication.
Swimming Safety Materials

The extended range of products consist of all the Swimming Safety materials. This is to demonstrate the broad range of products under the Autism Awareness brand.

Autistic children often use iPad's and iPhone's in some cases, to interact and educate themselves. The flash cards have been demonstrated digitally to show how they would function in the form of an app.
Waterstones Stall

For the purpose of my stall at Waterstones, I had a box constructed which represents the autism publication. Each side was then painted to resemble the colours used on the publication as well.
