This project was a collaboration between the Industrial Design BTech students and the Multimedia Btech students at the University of Johannesburg. The aim was to come up with a solution for the textbook problem commonly experienced in South Africa. The problem was that students and schools would not recieve enough, if any, textbooks to help them complete their school carrers. Our solution evolved around the idea of giving teachers direct access to the textbook database and give them controll over the printing of chapters, textbooks or worksheets. This solution translated into a print-on-demand kiosk that would be installed at schools.
