RIYADH TOWERS
ALIVE DESIGN
We developed a concept for a skyscraper in the city of Riyadh. The construction site is located near the
"Riyadh Gallery Mall" shopping center. The main task was to create a superstructure above the shopping center using wooden structures or imitation and to incorporate wood into the new building. The total area of the new skyscraper will be 180,000 sq.m, while the neighboring Majdoul Tower has an area of 78,250 sq.m.
On the same street, there is the famous Burj Al-Mamlaka building. We proposed a design option with structures finished with wood imitation and without it. The lines extending from the base of the towers and widening to the top harmoniously correspond with the lines of Majdoul Tower.
Each of the towers will house central stiffness cores, which will take on the main loads, and the main elevators will be located within these cores. We have long dreamed of working on a similar project. This concept was developed for a tender, but the contract has already been signed and our work has been paid for.
