Located in Cyprus, the Artists Workshop Residence project involves 3D visualization and interior design. Our primary objective was to create captivating visualizations and interior designs that complement the building's architecture.

The project is founded on the concept of cultural production's fundamental aspects: the Craftsman and the Artist. These two pillars of creativity embody the continuous human engagement with Art (Techne) and Artisanry (techniki). The creator of the project envisions the House as a Workshop and the Workshop as a House, leading to an architectural configuration where the idea of living and working becomes a Lifestyle. The resident artists engage with the local context in a House that serves as a cross-fertilization Hub for contemporary ideas into the traditional Tunisian Crafts and vice versa.

The first floor of the building features working spaces for artists, lecture rooms, and shops, while the second floor is dedicated to living, featuring a plethora of bedrooms for artists. A big square with a green lawn, wooden benches, and palms are located in the middle of the building. We decided to hang the parametric sculpture on the roof of this square to serve as a focal point and attract visitors.

Some of the rooms in the building are adorned with modern Tunisian art, ethnic sculptures, and decor. The walls feature raw light stucco, while in some rooms, parametric 3D panels are used.

The building has a pathway that flows through it, similar to an art flow without sharp angles, creating a soft and tranquil ambiance. All rooms are connected to this pathway, providing artists with the opportunity to meet near water mirrors, a meeting room, and a central square. Furthermore, the building is integrated into the hill, boasting terraces with green lawns and walking areas where artists can relax and free their minds.
