Surface and pattern design for the Der Metropol summer 2014, designed by Mario Francisco, presented at Casa de Criadores in São Paulo. The collection was inspired by Tim Burton's cult movie Mars Attacks! Following the theme, the prints develop in fire explosions embroidery and colorfull-fun alien invasion prints using characters and movie elements as references.
The creation process was very upspeed. I needed to develop 3 prints in a week so they could produce the fabrics in time for the show. Besides the digital printing, the designer produced also embroidery with characters / elements that i've done.
