Peep Sunglasses | Brand Identity



Overview

Peep is a new sunglass brand, and they pride themselves on promoting diversity and uniqueness through bold sunshades and colours to suit anyone and everyone. 


Project objectives

They aim to stand out in a global market which includes major eyewear brands like Barner and Ray-Ban. To achieve this, they want a bespoke brand identity which communicates their bold, colourful and fun personality with the hope of the brand being playful and informal.

They also want to host their products on a website so as to start making online sales right from their product launch.

Deliverables: Logo, brand identity, business card, packaging design, website landing page, social media templates



My approach to the brief
I decided to go with a customized script font for the wordmark to evoke the feeling of uniqueness and fun. To show boldness and diversity, I went with a strong colour palette of Purple and Green and a neutral set of black and white tones. These simple but powerful design choices helped build the brand identity's foundation. ​​​​​​​



Challenge

Communicating the brand values across different packaging formats was also quite challenging and interesting. Great consideration had to be taken as to how packaging will look for the young and old while maintaining brand values across the board.

And putting things together for digital, I worked on social media templates as well as a landing page design.
