Project
In this project we asked to choose one of the Student Starpack Award 2014 briefs to work on it, So I picked the brief (A) Great British Summer. I started doing my research to know the brand , client, materials and other requirements for the project.
Concept
First, I started thinking about the package design. I kept in mind it has to be simple and do its job easily. I designed my package similar to the idea of the tray holder. The main box would be opened from both sided to be easily take out the box. Since the package is designed for two, it contains two small boxes each of them have a drink, chips, cake, fruit and sandwich ,complete meal. Each box has a sheet that can go out to use it as small tray for eating on it. In addition, they can throw their rubbish in the box once they finish they can close it with its rubbish and it will be easily disposal it.
After, I started thinking about my concept . My brief asked to create a British picnic pack. So, I loved to make it special for the British culture. While I’m searching about the culture of the British I found a company called “Country life’’ that support the idea of picnic by creating a campaign to enhance people go out for it. So, I thought it would be nice if I support their campaign by designing the picnic pack for them. Their color scheme green and brown I changed them into the color of the Britain flag to bring the feeling of the British.
