The term "desert blues" is actually used to refer a vast range of styles of music from the Sahara region of northern and west Africa. Common to all of them is the typical fusion of elements from traditional blues and rock with Tuareg, Malian or North African music.

I've long been an avid listener of this style, that's why I currently decided to paint some of its key artists. Maybe if you're also a fan of these haunting guitars straight from the desert you'll see some familiar faces. In any case, thanks for viewing and enjoying.
