7 ROLLS
The idea of this project started with the discovery of two old cameras in my familys house, still containing undeveloped film rolls inside. I decided to develop them, to discover what was there after all these years. The results were surprising. Most of them where "destroyed" by the storage, but I liked the results. A lot. They made me think.
I found out I could do a project of these "damages." The result is this series, selected from 7 different rolls of 35mm film. Each roll has its unique pre-history, manipulated by accidental damage in
different ways.
The project is about these failures and how the film has responded the treatment; unique and unpredictable, giving an almost etheral touch to the motives,
and sometimes even blurring them out.
