Stephen Robert's profile

Leandro Erlich’s Liminal at PAMM

A seasoned financial executive with a career of around three decades, Stephen K. Robert formerly served as CEO of Oppenheimer Group, Inc., before shifting his focus to philanthropic endeavors. Today, Stephen Robert is a founder and trustee of the Source of Hope Foundation. He is also a trustee at the Perez Art Museum in Miami (PAMM).

The Perez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) gallery currently hosts a collection of art titled Leandro Erlich: Liminal. Argentine artist Leandro Erlich created the pieces using his signature sculpting techniques and unique artistic skills. Through his collection of artworks, the artist shares his imagination of a parallel universe where objects sometimes don't obey logic. For example, an elevator does not have a final destination in Erlich's imaginary universe.

Leandro Erlich: Liminal showcases 16 works spanning over two decades of Erlich's production, arranged in PAMM's special exhibition galleries to create a narrative storyline. The exhibition challenges viewers' perceptions of their surroundings through a series of encounters. American art curator Dan Cameron selected and organized the art pieces for Liminal at PAMM.
