Fløibanen Lighting design

The biggest tourist attraction in Bergen, Norway is the Fløibanen funicular. Some of the lighting was almost 100 years old and was in need of some updates. The new lighting design focused on the user, both those who are in the vehicles and those in the city. The lighting is programmed to shut down along the tracks where the vehicle is so that the visitors can enjoy the nightscape view of the city. This also creates a dynamic movement in the hillside which is a nice attraction seen from the city. The stations has also seen an upgrade to fit the new lighting spesifications. The whole project is lit with LED lighting from different manufactures.
