Formed in 2017 on the initiative of Maël Kervinio and Valérian Gambin, singer-guitarist and drummer respectively, Through The Halo is made up of four members. The artists have a variety of musical influences including grunge, death-melo, trash, Nu and grind.

The entire photo shoot for Fatalism? took place in Iceland, for its vast Nordic scenery and fantastic natural atmosphere in keeping with the album's mood.
